Brakes done right.
No shortcuts.

Every brake job starts with a complete inspection — all four corners, every component, on and off the vehicle. We don't quote brakes blind, and we don't resurface rotors. OE parts, premium options, and a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty on everything we do.

Every brake job starts
with a complete inspection.

We charge $240 for a brake inspection, and that amount is credited toward any brake work we find. What you're paying for is a thorough evaluation of every component at all four corners before we quote you a single number. The point is to build one accurate quote — not a low number that grows after you say yes.

All Four Wheels Come Off
We remove all four wheels to inspect the brakes properly. There's no meaningful brake inspection that happens through a wheel spoke. Caliper function, slide pin condition, rotor surface and thickness, brake hose condition, brake line integrity — none of that is visible without pulling the wheel. We check everything.
Measurements, Not Eyeballing
Pad thickness and rotor thickness are measured with tools, not estimated by eye. We record the numbers. We compare them against manufacturer minimum specifications. We note any taper wear, uneven wear patterns, or scoring that indicates a seized caliper or a hardware problem. The measurements are part of the record, not something we tell you verbally and forget.
Brake Fluid Condition
Brake fluid is hygroscopic — it absorbs moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point and reduces braking performance under heat. We test fluid condition as part of the inspection. If the fluid is compromised, we'll tell you. Brake fluid service is inexpensive relative to what degraded fluid does to your calipers and ABS module over time.
Test Drive & Full Vehicle Check
We drive the vehicle before we write the quote. Brake pedal feel, ABS engagement, brake fade behavior, pulling — these things don't always show up on a lift. After the drive we pull codes, complete a full vehicle inspection, and then we give you one number that covers everything that needs to be done. No callbacks. No additions after approval.
◆  The $240 inspection fee is credited in full toward any brake work performed. If you proceed with repairs, the inspection pays for itself.

Modern rotors aren't
built to be resurfaced.

Rotor resurfacing made sense when rotors were built with significant material margin — enough metal that you could machine the surface down and still have a safe, functional rotor. That's not how modern rotors are designed. The gap between new thickness and minimum specification is too small to absorb a turning operation and still leave you with a rotor that performs the way it should.

The Math Doesn't Work Anymore
A turned rotor technically measures in spec — it passes the minimum thickness number. But it performs like a rotor that's already most of the way to discard. Heat dissipation is reduced. Warp resistance is reduced. You've paid for labor to put an inferior product back on your vehicle. We don't do that. New rotors are the right answer, and on most vehicles they're not expensive.
We Don't Put Inferior Parts on Customer Vehicles
This is the standard we hold across every repair we do. The cheapest technically-compliant option is not the option we choose. We'd rather explain why we're recommending new rotors than send you home with resurfaced ones that will need replacement in a year. Our 3-year/36,000-mile warranty backs every brake job — that's only possible if we start with quality components.

Two tiers.
Both excellent.

We offer two levels of brake parts on most vehicles. Both are quality. Both are backed by our warranty. The difference is price and, in some cases, pad compound characteristics. We explain the tradeoffs before you decide — there are no surprises after the fact.

Premium Aftermarket — OEF 3
We stock the OEF 3 line from Worldpac for most common applications. These are quality components that perform well and are priced fairly — a solid choice for daily drivers where OE pricing doesn't make sense. We've had consistently good results with them across a wide range of vehicles and use cases. Comparable performance to OE in most real-world conditions.
OE — Zimmermann, Textar, Jurid, Akebono
These are the brands that supply European and Japanese OEMs from the factory. Zimmermann and Textar for German vehicles, Akebono for Japanese. In some applications we use genuine dealer parts when the fit or calibration requires it. If you want exactly what came on the vehicle — same compound, same metallurgy — this is the choice.
◆  One thing to know about OE high-performance pad compounds: they can produce light noise when backing up on cold mornings. This is a characteristic of the pad material — a byproduct of the compound that gives them their performance — not a defect and not a warranty condition. We tell every customer this before the job, so it's never a surprise.

Same standard.
Every repair.

All brake work — pads, rotors, calipers, hardware, fluid — is covered by our 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. The same warranty that applies to every other repair we perform. We can offer it because we use quality parts and we do the job correctly the first time.
