This is what a real
diagnosis looks like.

Most shops plug in a scan tool, read the fault codes, and call that a diagnosis. That's not what we do. The Level 1 Testing package is a dedicated 2-hour session where a technician works through every layer of the diagnostic process — starting with factory scan data and ending with a confirmed root cause. The $285 flat rate covers all of it. Nothing is billed on top.

OE Scan Tools & Software
We use factory-level diagnostic platforms — ISTA for BMW and MINI, ODIS for Volkswagen Group vehicles, and XENTRY for Mercedes-Benz. These are the same systems used by authorized dealers. Generic scan tools read generic fault codes. Factory software reads the full fault memory, module configuration, live sensor data, and guided test routines that generic tools simply don't have access to.
Load Testing
Many faults only appear when a system is working hard — under electrical load, at operating temperature, or under throttle. A vehicle that behaves normally at idle can have a real, measurable fault that only surfaces when conditions are right. Load testing recreates those conditions in a controlled way, so we find what's actually failing rather than what looks suspicious on a cold scan.
Power & Ground Testing
Bad grounds and voltage drop are responsible for a significant percentage of electrical misdiagnoses in the industry. A component can fault-code repeatedly and be replaced multiple times without ever fixing the problem if the underlying power or ground circuit is compromised. We test actual voltage delivery and ground integrity at the component level — not just at the battery.
Factory Testing Procedures
Every European manufacturer publishes diagnostic flowcharts for fault conditions — step-by-step procedures that walk through measurements, component tests, and elimination logic to arrive at a confirmed root cause. We follow them. This isn't a shortcut — it's the most reliable path to an accurate answer, and it's the reason our first-attempt repair accuracy holds above 99%.

Guessing costs more
than diagnosing right.

A $285 diagnostic fee is easy to second-guess until you've paid for two or three wrong parts and the problem still isn't fixed. Parts swapping is an expensive approach to a guessing problem. When we diagnose correctly the first time — which we do in better than 99% of cases — the repair cost is predictable, the result is reliable, and you're not back in two weeks with the same symptom. The diagnosis isn't an extra charge. It's what makes everything else possible.
